The Cavi di Lavagna Beaches are blue flag award winners for being the cleanest, most beautiful and family friendly and the beaches of Chiavari have been awarded the Blue Flag for clean waters since the mid 1980s. Genoa truly boasts some of the best and loveliest beaches in Italy.

Built in 1550 to host the residence of Genoa’s most prominent and famous aristocrat families, the Grimaldi family, it is now a public art gallery that houses works by great names such as Filippino Lippi, Veronese, and Caravaggio all are represented and highlights include Rubens’ "Venere e Marte (Venus and Mars)", Van Dyck’s "Vertumna e Pomona" and Lucas Cranach the Elder's "Portrait of a Lady". However, it is not just the excellent art collection that awaits visitors but also a small rooftop terrace that offers incredible views of the city and a stunning garden with a bar where you can grab a cocktail, sit back and enjoy this lovely city.
