For fashion lovers, Milan has to be one of the major travel destinations of choice and after the most recent fashion week a month ago, there is even more reason to book a vacation rental in Milan next season. The Spring/Summer 2018 collections featured some of the most memorable moments in recent runway history from the return of the nineties Supers en masse to touching tributes and walking bouquets to comic-book feminism. With all this and more landing in stores come spring, there couldn't be a better time to plan a trip!

Here are more of the brands to shop when you visit next season.
9. Etro

Etro is known for its eclectic, boho vibes and they stayed very much true to form in this regard for SS18. However, this season was a particularly cool iteration. Gender lines were blurred and pieces were swapped back and forth in the first showing of menswear and womenswear together from the brand. There was also a distinctly “sixties rock and roll meets 19th century chinoiserie vibe” that saw Mick Jagger-esque accessories and styling alongside Victorian smoking jackets and Edwardian pin-striped suits. Luxurious velvets and silks were used throughout and the whole effect was very much like some eccentric relative had thrown a look together – but in the best possible way.

10. Dolce & Gabbana

Like many others for SS18, Dolce & Gabbana were looking back to the nineties, trotting out their classic slinky black numbers that were made so famous by the Monica Bellucis of the world. It wasn't all lacy black underthings as outfits, however. There was nods to pop art, floral on floral on florals, fruit as buttons, some very extra accessories, walking playing cards ripped from Alice in Wonderland, sequins, feathers, and some truly excellent suits. It basically went from serious and sultry to playful and tongue-in-cheek in ten seconds but this was necessary as it made the aesthetic that we've been seeing from them for years now into something new and refreshing. It is a burst of sweetness to look out for next season!
