[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Portole 2 is an excellent holiday home. Fully equipped. Neat clean and tidy. The owner / contact person was very helpful and nice. Portole 2 is very quietly located approximately 7 kilometers uphill from Cortona. Who likes peace and quietness and is in possession of a car and has good legs can have a good holiday here.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

The Equipment in the kitchen could be much better. We missed severall things. For example there were only 3 cups although the apartment can be used by 4 people. The TV-set should be replaced due it is to small.
Otherwise it was an superb stay in Toskany!!!
[Comment by Easy Reserve] We have asked the owner to add the kitchen equipment for 4 people.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Fantastic in every way. We had a wonderful time and the owner was incredibly kind. The lovely house was a 5 min. walk from the city. The garden was perfect with sun and shade and comfortable chairs. The place is located perfectly to visit locations in Toscane.
We had a great time and would certainly stay there again should we visit Toscane.

A truly wonderful location close to Siena, with superb views across farmland to the towers of Siena on the horizon. Totally private pool area, with shade from olive trees all around - you may have to skim the pool each day for bugs and dropped olive blossom, but that was all part of the experience. The owner Jacopo has his own (truly wonderful) converted house next door, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended.

Charming situation and owner. The house is lovely. The basic road is difficult to negotiate and the property difficult to find. The son of the owner had to meet us to guide us.
One improvement for the house would be installation of fans in the bedrooms as it was hot at night.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
