Please note that the internal staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms on the first floor has no railing, therefore children up to 12 years of age must be constantly supervised. Air conditioning is available in the living area and in the upstairs bedrooms, ensuring a cool and comfortable stay during the summer months, and is included in the rental price. Heating is metered and billed according to consumption. Final cleaning is included in the rental price. A refundable security deposit of 300,00 euros is required upon arrival and will be returned before departure, less any charge in case of damage. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 9:30. Late check-in after 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM is available upon request, and check-in later than 11:00 PM must be organized in advance and may require additional fees. A tourist tax of 8,00 euros per person per night applies for the first 4 nights, with children under 12 years of age exempt. The ground floor additionally houses 2 double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with a shower, and provides access to the garden corner with views of Chiusi. On the first floor, accessed through a charming loggia, there is a spacious living room, a kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher and 2 ovens, 2 double bedrooms each with a private bathroom with a shower, and 2 double or twin bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The barn contains 2 double bedrooms and 1 double or twin bedroom, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

If you book a holiday at Casale Aiola you will find yourself immersed in a modern farmhouse and forestry farm, surrounded by greenery and set in the total tranquillity of the hills on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, among age-old woods and picturesque valleys. Casale Aiola is an old stone farmhouse divided into two parts. In one part of the house lives the owner who, with his discreet presence, will be a sure reference point for any need.
The farmhouse is located about 25 km from the beautiful Cortona, in Tuscany and about 15 km from the village of Trestina, in Umbria. You can do your shopping in either Cortona or Trestina, both of which have shops, supermarkets and services.
From here you have easy access to green Umbria, with its small villages nestled in the lush hills and bucolic landscapes of Lake Trasimeno, Perugia is only 60 km away.
Similarly, once you have reached Cortona, the splendid towns and cities of southern Tuscany will open up for you to discover. From Cortona to the farmhouse the road is perhaps a little long, even though it is all paved. But once you are there you will be rewarded with the absolute tranquillity of the place.
In our opinion Casale Aiola is definitely suitable for groups of families with children. The large green space around the house is perfect for the little ones to run and play in the middle of nature. Also available, in front of the house, is a children's swimming pool (size m. 4x8 - depth 0.60 m. - open from 15 May to 30th September), table tennis, table football, children's games and a bowling green. Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
For adults and children there is a large private swimming pool (size 9x16 m. -depth 1,20 m. completely fenced - open from 15 May to 30th September) with bathroom with shower and a small gazebo with fridge to cool down on hot summer days and the tennis court.

Check in is available between 3 pm and 7 pm, while check out is required by 10 am. The property is protected by mosquito nets throughout to ensure comfortable evenings. A housekeeper service is provided for 3 hours once a week to maintain the villa during your stay. Room and bathroom linens are provided with weekly changes occurring on Saturdays. Water, gas, electricity, and final cleaning are all included in the rental. Upon arrival, you will be required to provide a security deposit which will be returned at the end of your stay minus any costs for damages incurred. Pets are allowed on request. The swimming pool is available for use from 1 May through 31 October and features the option of protective covering to preserve water temperature overnight.
