Outdoors

The private grounds of Villa Bambù extend across approximately 1,000 sqm and are thoughtfully divided into 3 distinct terraces, each connected by stone steps and designed to maximise both privacy and the enjoyment of the surrounding landscape. Access to the property is via a vehicle gate, which leads onto a short, curved ramp descending to the shaded parking area. From there, a flight of 15 steps ascends to the second terrace, where the swimming pool and a lawn solarium await. A second flight of steps continues up to the main house, which is surrounded on 3 sides by furnished verandas and a beautifully maintained Mediterranean-style garden. The annex, situated to the left of the entrance, features its own small veranda and an outdoor shower discreetly positioned beneath the hedges. The outdoor dining area, sheltered under one of the verandas, is exceptionally well equipped, featuring a small kitchen with a gas stove, a barbecue area complete with a small wood-burning oven, and a charming arrangement of masonry sofas alternating with elegant outdoor seating. The non-heated swimming pool is rectangular in shape, measuring 10 x 5 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.50 metres, and is fitted with PVC lining and Roman steps for easy access, as well as both internal and external lighting. The pool terrace is furnished with sunbeds and includes a shady pergola in one corner and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please be aware that the property photographs were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering of plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.

Unit Layout

Villa Bambù accommodates a maximum of 11 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, distributed between the main villa and a separate annex. The main villa spans 2 floors and covers approximately 200 sqm, with verandas wrapping around 3 sides of the building. On the ground floor, the main entrance is accessed through a large French window set beneath the veranda, leading directly into the living area. To the left, a small kitchen serves the main living space, while a second large French window opens onto the outdoor dining area, which benefits from an additional kitchen space. The ground floor also features 1 single bedroom and 1 double bedroom with direct access to the veranda, along with 2 bathrooms equipped with showers. A laundry area and a storage room are located at the rear of the house. On the first floor, there are 2 further bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with shower: 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Both first-floor bedrooms feature sloping ceilings, with heights ranging from 60 cm to 2.40 metres near the bed. The separate annex is a single-storey structure of approximately 50 sqm, comprising a living area with 2 built-in single sofa beds measuring 80 x 180 cm, a small kitchenette, and 1 double bedroom with direct outdoor access and an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Other Information

Villa Bambù operates a Zer0Dep Guarantee scheme, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either upon balance payment or on arrival. This arrangement includes EuropAssistance coverage for accidental damage to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros and subject to the limitations provided under the policy terms. Pets are accepted at the property, with a maximum of 1 pet of small size permitted. Acceptance of any animal must be authorised in advance by the owner, who requires prior communication of the number of animals, their size, and their breed. In the event that urban waste is not disposed of correctly, an additional charge of 80 euros per week will be applied at check-out. The tourism tax may be applicable depending on current local regulations.
