The villa is located in ancient Etruscan territory, on the slopes of the Cimini mountains, where numerous Etruscan tombs were found. You can explore the area enjoying the significant archaeological finds, preserved in the Forte Sangallo museum in Civita Castellana and also in the Valle Giulia museum in Rome. The surrounding green hills are dotted with small, characteristic villages that are well worth a day trip.
Around the villa there is a large green area equipped with garden furniture at the edge of which there is a beautiful, large swimming pool (size 6x15 m, depth 0.80 m - 1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), perfect on hot summer days.
Due to its peculiar organisation of the interior spaces, Villa Iris, in our opinion, is suitable for groups of friends who want to spend their holidays together while maintaining a certain amount of privacy.
