Very Good 4 /5Our experience (16 people, extended family with children) at Il Salicone was very favourable. The villa is over 200 years old, so don't expect a modern house.
That said, it is huge, it has character to burn and the housekeeper Nicoletta is as welcoming and helpful as you can ask.
Do note the pool (which has a wonderful view on its own) is a fair distance from the house, which should have been noted on the description.
The location is superb, less than 10m from Pistoia (which has all amenities needed) and 25m from Florence on the highway.
All in all, a very pleasant experience which I would recommend.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
