Ancient, welcoming former barn which has been recently restored preserving its original architectural features and the beautiful terracotta-tiled floors. This 1-hectare property is entirely fenced and it is situated in quiet and panoramic location just outside the small medieval town of Laterina, in the Valdarno region. The house offers a lovely furnished portico, a private pool and nicely furnished interiors. The location of Casa Marco is ideal to discover the beautiful art cities of Tuscany and northern Umbria.
The owners lives in a farmhouse, approx. 5 m away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.

At guests’ disposal: outdoor areas (lawn) with above-ground, octagonal-shaped pool (5 x 5 m – depth 1,2 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), open-air shower (cold water), furnished portico, barbecue, bread-oven, playground for children. Wi-fi internet connection is available upon request (free of charge). Laundry (washing-machine) available.
Parking within the grounds.
Extra Services: Baby bed and high-chair available upon request (€ 40,- / per week for both). Maid service available by arrangement (€ 12,- / per hour payable on site). Pets are allowed by paying an extra charge of € 50,- / per week (payment on site).

Upon request the owner can organize daily excursions, museum visits and restoration classes. In addition it is possible to request breakfast service and nice Tuscan dinners to taste recipes of the local tradition served in a charming room with fireplace overlooking the garden.

The property owners run a small farming estate near Siena producing olive oil and wine (DOCG "chianti colli senesi") available to be purchased.

A very pleasant and charming romantic house. Very cosy and the house stays real cool and had all the comfort we needed. The owner of the property lives nearby and is very friendly, charming and helpful, as well as his family. We had a huge part of the garden for our own with real privacy. The pool was 5 x 5. Not big but my two sons 11 and 13 had a great time. Especially with the small cute dog and lots of young cats, so adorable.
If you want some peace and want to relax, reading a nice book enjoying the environment, its possible here. You don't hear the cars in the streets its very peaceful and quiet. Except for some dogs barking further on and the TGV(train) you hear once in a while.
For us this place has given us a warm, beautiful memory.
