Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Gallus are designed to invite relaxation and convivial living at every turn. The garden extends along the front of the villa, with the lawn bordered by flowers and enclosed by a perimeter that combines stone walling and railings, with 2 entrance gates — one for vehicles and one for pedestrians. Two sides of the villa are framed by terraces shaded by elegant wooden canopies. The terrace connected to the living room serves as a dedicated relaxation area, while the terrace accessible from the kitchen accommodates a dining table and extends toward the barbecue area, making it an ideal setting for outdoor meals. At the top floor of the villa, a further terrace has been arranged as a panoramic relaxation space offering breathtaking views of Mount Etna, the most spectacular vantage point on the property. The rectangular swimming pool, measuring 8 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m, is centrally positioned in the garden between the pedestrian gate and the main entrance. The pool is non-heated, lined in PVC, and equipped with chlorine purification and internal steps for safe water access. It is bordered by stoneware paving furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, and is also usable at night thanks to its internal lighting system. An outdoor solar shower is conveniently located nearby. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the appearance of flowering plants and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you find upon arrival.

Unit Layout

Villa Gallus is configured across multiple floors and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main entrance on the ground floor opens into a bright, open-plan area comprising a living room with a sitting area and TV, a dining area, and a kitchen slightly set to one side but fully integrated into the communal space. The 2 areas of the living room are separated by the staircase leading to the upper floor. Also on the ground floor are a guest bathroom and a dedicated laundry room. The kitchen connects directly to the outdoor dining terrace with barbecue. On the first floor, the sleeping area consists of 3 double bedrooms: the first features a private terrace and an ensuite bathroom with shower; the second includes a bathtub and basin within the room itself and shares a bathroom with shower with the third bedroom. The staircase continues upward to the top-floor terrace, which has been arranged as a panoramic relaxation area with sweeping views of Mount Etna.

Utilities including electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, and hot water are all included in the rental rate, along with weekly linen service and both an initial and a final cleaning of the property.

Other Information

Villa Gallus has undergone a technical inspection by a designated responsible professional prior to the start of the season, carried out to verify the consistency of the property description, the condition and operability of all listed accessories, and to guarantee quality, cleanliness, and comfort for all guests. The property accepts small-sized pets, and acceptance must be authorised in advance by the owner upon communication of the number, size, and breed of the animals. The Zer0Dep Guarantee is applied to this property, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This guarantee includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 euros and subject to the limitations provided by the policy. A tourism tax of 3.00 euros per person per night applies for the first 10 nights of the stay. Children under 10 years of age are exempt from this tax.
