This level hosts 4 bedrooms: 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bathtub and garden view, 2 twin/double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, and 2 bathrooms with shower and bathtub located in the corridor. The lower level features 2 twin/double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom with shower and sea view. Only 3 rooms have sea views while the other bedrooms have garden views. The villa is accessible only on foot and is not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to the numerous steps throughout the property and its surroundings. From the entrance gate to the house there is a stairway down of 39 steps, from the house to the solarium there are 23 steps, and from the villa to the private rock swimming platform there are approximately 180 steps. The property is located about 300 meters from the private elevator that connects the harbour with the pedestrian path leading to the lighthouse, making it approximately 15 minutes walking to the centre of the village if you use the lift, and 20 minutes without the lift. The villa cannot be seen from the footpath where you will find the entrance gate. You should not bring a car as there is no parking at or near the house, although if you do have a car, parking is available in a garage in town. Porter service is available but must be prearranged before arrival. Grocery shopping with delivery service is provided by Portofino and Santa Margherita supermarkets. The listed price is for 10 people maximum, and 1 extra person is admitted to be paid on arrival. It is best to stay here without a car and use public transportation, as anyone who stays in Portofino must know how to adapt to the rhythms of a city that is entirely for pedestrians.

The property is spectacularly located on the peninsula of Portofino, just 15 minutes by foot from the central piazzetta with its designer shops and seafood restaurants, and the harbour with its elegant yachts. Shops and restaurants are at walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the vibrant local dining and shopping scene. Santa Margherita is 4 km away, while Genoa is 30 minutes by highway. Florence is 3 hours away, Rome is 5 hours south and Milan is 2 hours north. Cinqueterre makes a perfect day trip including the train back and forth and walking from one village to the next. The natural protected area of the peninsula of Portofino has been an attraction for centuries with its mild climate and high cliffs dropping into the sea. This area is very special with its happy mix of glamorous yet relaxed people, luxury villas, natural trails, village fairs, castle walks, yacht harbour and everywhere the turquoise sea. Local Transport

The train station is in Santa Margherita and there is a bus from Santa Margherita to Portofino. There is also a local train that runs from Santa Margherita to the Cinqueterre.

Parking

The centre of Portofino is a restricted traffic zone, and therefore transit and parking permits are granted only to residents/authorized persons. There is a 24-hour car park available at Piazza Martiri della Libertà, which is located just upon entering the village from SP227 road. Note that the parking costs are quite expensive. The best way to get to Portofino is by taxi, by boat or bus.

Guest Requirements and Arrival instructions

Guests must contact the owner via WhatsApp 10 days before arrival to:

Late arrival (between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM) may be allowed upon request and owner's approval – extra fee: €70

During the online booking process and in the reservation policies of each property can be found the percentage of the total rental amount which must be paid at the time of the booking as initial deposit required to confirm a reservation. The balance, when not stated otherwise in the reservation policies of the property, is due 45 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (within 45 days of arrival, unless stated otherwise in the reservation policies of the property) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

EASY RESERVE reserves the right to charge the holiday-maker any additional cost relative to the booking. Cancellation of a booking, unless stated otherwise in the reservation policies of the property, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties must be paid:
- the percentage of the total rental amount paid at the time of the booking as initial deposit if the cancellation is made from the booking time to 46 days before the start of the rental period;
- 100% of the total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to the day of arrival or in the case of no show.
