Serate d’Incanto takes place on the Duomo Terraces each Thursday from the 11th of June to the 10th of September 2026 and is a summer programme of musical events that are being held to allow guests to appreciate the building and the skyline while enjoying an elegant evening of classical music in Milan.

The Only Cathedral In The World With A Fully Walkable Rooftop


Milan’s Duomo is, in fact, the only cathedral in the world with a fully walkable rooftop and offers guests the opportunity to take in sweeping views over this incredible city. Tours of this astounding space, guiding visitors so that they can understand exactly what they are looking at, are already offered but the addition of music really does elevate this experience and make it something special and utterly unforgettable. 


A Rich Musical Programme


This rich musical programme, curated by Artistic Coordinator Matteo Amadasi, will see incredible performances by different groups and internationally renowned musicians. It will continue the Veneranda Fabbrica’s initiative of supporting students from the “G. Verdi” Conservatoire of Music in Milan and opened on the 11th of June wit ah concert performed by the Quartet of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano. 


In addition to this, three concerts have been organised by the Milan Conservatoire, including a saxophone quartet, a solo violin, and an electronic music duo, there will be concerts by the likes of famous musicians such as pianists Davide Cabassi and Michele Gamba. Other soloists on the programme include Alfredo Persichilli, Simonide Braconi, Luca Ranieri, Mario Marzi, Fabrizio Meloni, and Marco Zoni.

Matching The Sunset


Times for this event will vary slightly through the summer to match the sunset and make the experience as magical as possible. Please keep this in mind if you are planning your visit while you stay in one of our vacation rentals in Milan.


In June and July, last access to the terrace will be at 8.30pm and they will remain open until 10pm. Then, in August, the last access will be at 8pm while the terrace will close at 9.30pm and, in September the last access will be at 7.30pm and the terrace will close at 9pm.

Tickets to these magical evenings can be purchased online directly from the official Duomo website and start at €20.00 for a full price ticket or €10.00 for the reduced rate ticket. 


If you happen to be in the area and want to stroll by on any given Thursday, you can also check at the ticket office, where tickets can be bought – if still available – up to ten minutes before the last access time for the terrace. 


In the event of rain, the terrace will remain open but the musical performance may be cancelled. Access to the terrace is available via lift so anyone can enjoy this special event!
