These special architectural gems have a rich history and are delightful and rather romantic local structures that make it clear where you are in the world. Trulli di Grieco is a property that is located near the town of Grieco and just 9km (6 miles) from the White City of Ostuni in the well-known tourist area of Salento. Other key towns and cities in the region are also perfect day-trip distances away: Alberobello 28 km (18 mi), Brindisi 48 km (30 mi), Polignano a Mare 49 km (31 mi) and Lecce 86 km (53 mi). For those who want easy access to Apulia’s top attractions and destinations, therefore, it is perfectly positioned.
Sleeping up to 11 guests comfortably in five bedrooms with six bathrooms, it is also a spacious gem with lots of little areas for relaxing throughout the house and grounds. With the original trulli buildings at the core, extensions have been added more recently to give occupants more bedrooms and living space within the villa. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, an oven, an Italian coffee machine, a washing machine, and WIFI. There is also an open living space with a sofa, a fireplace, a dining table that seats up to twelve, a loft, an exit to the garden and patio, and both WIFI and air-conditioning for your comfort and convenience. Two bedrooms, one with a French bed and one with three bunk beds, as well as two bathrooms round out the ground floor.
On the first floor, there is another well-equipped kitchen also with all of the appliances that you could want or need including a dishwasher and both an Italian and American coffee machine. In the living room, there is a sofa that seats up to five guests, a desk, a fireplace, a television, and an exit out onto the veranda. A separate dining room also has an exit out onto the terrace and a dining table that seats up to eight guests. The bedrooms on this floor are all en suite and include two bedrooms with French beds and one with a double bed. An additional bathroom and a spa room with an indoor pool round out this floor.
This indoor pool room is a real delight with large glass windows and doors opening directly out onto the garden and areas to lounge around it for the ultimate luxury experience. However, it’s not even the only pool area on the property! There is an outdoor pool as well that is in a raised position, overlooking the surrounding landscape with sun loungers and parasols, in addition to a separate outdoor hot tub.
