This stunning property is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath unit in a Palladian villa built in the second half of the 16th century by the Marcello family, one of the most powerful and noble families of Venice. Count Vettor Marcello and his family live there today and rent out one of the wings off of the central main building, which houses the unit that we offer here for rent. Situated on an incredible estate with elaborate Italian style garden that is decorated with a fountain, Greek mythical statues, flower beds, lawns and bushes, it is a very special place to stay. The park that surrounds the villa measures 70,000m2 and boasts a dove cote, a chapel, a large fish pond, woods with century old trees, a soccer field, a barbecue area, an outdoor dining area with a gazebo, deck chairs, a dressing room and a 9x6m swimming pool that is open from May to October.
