Via Krupp, Capri
Capri is a great natural beauty full of endless tourist attractions to choose from but it is also a wonderful place to go hiking. If you have found a villa with pool on the Amalfi coast and are planning a trip there, be sure to set aside some time to enjoy the great outdoors, the excellent hiking routes and the incredible views.

Via Krupp is considered to be one of the prettiest roads in the world and is a distinctive area to go walking in Capri. Reopened in June 2008 after a 30 year restoration, it can be found by heading to Capri's Piazzetta Umberto I, heading along Via Vittorio Emanuele to Via Matteoti before reaching Via Krupp. The lovely Gardens of Augustus and the Carthusian Monastery are at the top of the trail and the pretty Marina Piccola is at the bottom – the perfect spot for a tipple or a dip in the ocean.
Faraglioni, Capri
Another popular route is the track out to the Arco Naturale. From Capri's Piazetta, you just head along the Via Vittorio Emanuele to Via Camerelle, then follow Via Tragara towards the Arco Naturale.

To get to the Punta Tragara, you follow the signs and head down a steep hill to the gorgeous Cave of Matermania, where there is a path that takes you downwards to your destination. An easy walk – though there are plenty of steps – it offers incredible views of the famous Faraglioni rocks.

Monte Solaro, meanwhile is Capri’s highest point and, as a result, has the best views. You can hike or take the chairlift (an hour to an hour and a half journey versus a 12 minute ride). There are several trails and it is more challenging but it is well worth the effort – or just cheat with the lift and take in the views peacefully.
Capri Cliffs
Other routes in the area take you out to the likes of the Roman ruins of Villa Jovis and the famous Grotta Azzurra and are of varying levels of difficulty. Just choose the one that suits you and your capabilities and desires, or, if you're feeling energetic, try them all! This lovely corner of Campania is well worth thoroughly exploring it all!
