While we at Easy Reserve have always been updating our websites and services to ensure the most secure bookings, as of June 2017, we have transferred all of our family of websites to SSL encryption to really make sure you have the safest possible experience.
Before now, we already made sure that all credit cards were processed through a Trustwave certified safe system. This system ensures that all of your credit information is handled in a secure manner throughout the entire process and is PCI compliant. Additionally, we never store your credit card numbers in our server.
We now also use 128-bit encrypted SSL pages throughout our suite of Easy Reserve websites – including Italy Villas, Tuscany Villas and Easy Reserve. This means that all personal data transmitted during your use of our websites is encrypted along the entire process.
Traditionally, SSL encryption technology was used to protect a shopper’s personal information during the checkout process, making the checkout process secure but leaving all other traffic to the ecommerce website to use unsecured HTTP protocol. In line with the updates that all major ecommerce sites have seen in the past year, we have now expanded SSL encryption across our websites for their entirety and not just the checkout process. This not only ensures that no data can be intercepted as it goes over the network, but it is an important step for us in consolidating our trusting relationship with our customers – something that is very important to us here at Easy Reserve.

Well, check the browser bar and you'll see that you now find HTTPS rather than HTTP and the bar will be labelled with a lock icon and the word “secure”.
