The Pontifical Commission of Sacred Art has discovered a new sixth century fresco of Saint Paul while restoring the Catacombs of San Gennaro in Naples. The fresco is part of a larger fresco that has not held up to the ravages of 1500 years as well as the image of St Paul. The Commission thinks that an image of Saint Peter would have been adjacent to the St Paul figure. The story was published in L'Osservatore Romano.
