The farm produces biological products such as tomatoes, potatoes, salad and honey… which guests can pick directly in the market garden underneath the house and taste at the same time the original aromas.

The Holiday Farmhouse “Camporgiano” is situated in a green landscape in the heart of the fascinating Garfagnana valley, north of Lucca. This rural property, which was once a thriving farmhouse, has now been completely restored and become a perfect spot to spend a relaxing holiday.

The surrounding area is ideal for nature lovers, who can enjoy the stunning views whilst trekking or mountain biking (bikes provided) in the numerous paths of the valley.

Camporgiano village is 1.5 km far away and can be reach on foot, in the village there are food shops, restaurants, banks, taxi service, train station, bus stop for Lucca.

History
In its prime, the Estate was totally self sufficient, with farmhouses used for making cheese, honey, a trout farm, animal storage and vineyards. It is said that the Villa was built on solid, granite rock where there was once a house dating back to Roman times. All set amidst the "Apuane Alpe" nature park famous for their funghi porcini and wild game in the autumn months.

This farmhouse, part of the Villa Bertagni Estate, has been restored into the most exclusive three Apartments. The Farmhouse commands spectacular views of mountains and the village below. Set in sixty acres of forest and hills, with its own swimming pool (10 x 5 m).
