I Tigli
Exactly what it said on the website , but more. This was the real deal Tuscany, my Italian partner loved it, it was great to communicate with the owner and she could not do enough to help. Would return in a minute - suggestions for improvement - none.

Don&Sue G.Venice Florida. Good location and great views.Very spacious, quiet, and clean. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Only negatives:Bathroom has very small shower and Master bed is quite hard (appears to be a roll away bed). Be careful driving through the compound's arch.Because of two large concrete structures on both sides of the arch at the bottom ,I tore my rental car's undercarriage under the passengers door.

I Tigli was just what we dared imagine it would be. Idyllic setting, extremely well appointed and spacious, and our cooking lesson with Julia and subsequent dinner was a highlight. Being central to so much we wanted to see in Tuscany was great. Obviously wish we could have stayed longer, and would love to return given the opportunity especially now we know how to find it. Will be recommending I Tigli to anyone we know is heading that way. Kerry & Julie R., Adelaide,South Australia

The house is located in an ideal spot because it's a quick drive to many of the Tuscan villages and cities . We were very pleased with the property and found the house very comfortable. If you're going to be there during the colder months-be prepared because although there is central heating available, it doesn't do much. However, the fireplace and warm blankets worked well for us.

I Tigli
1 Tigli was spacious, clean, and tranquil. The villa became our home while in Tuscany. The area was ideal for local sight-seeing as well as being central to other areas that we wanted to visit. Sienna & Florence are quite close. Rome, Pisa, and Venice are all within a 3 to 4 hour drive. (We really enjoyed all of the places and areas that we visited except Venice - we wish we'd used the time to see Cinque Terre instead.) A car is necessary but the on-site parking was great. The owner's of the property are wonderful. We enjoyed speaking with three generations of the family while there.

I Tigli
I Tigli proved to be just right for the two of us. It is a spacious apartment on the upper floors of an old home. It sits at the end of a narrow lane that runs through a small, ancient hamlet. There is a grandparent who lives below, though we never heard nor saw her. The little balcony off the living room was a wonderful place to view the surrounding hills and the sunset. I Tigli is not a sophisticated villa with lots of amenities (restaurants and grocery stores are several miles away), but it is a charming taste of old Tuscany, and many hilltowns such as San Gimignano required only a short drive. The owner, Anna, speaks very little English, but her older daughter was very helpful, and we managed to communicate with Anna in spite of the language barrier. The entire experience was delightful!

This spacious, clean and well-equipped self-catering apartment is a peaceful home-base for exploring the Tuscan countryside. Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and other hill towns are all just a short drive away. Florence is half and hour away by bus. Anna and her family are great hosts and make visitors feel very welcome. Their garden is lovely, and a part of it is set aside for the apartment visitors' use ... great place to sit with a book and a glass of wine late in the day ... see photos.

We had a wonderful stay at I Tigli. The property owners were extremely helpful and friendly and have decorated and furnished the apartment very tastefully. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable. The bathroom was large and very clean. The family room had satellite TV and a wonderful little balcony. There is room for parking a car and the renter has access to a portion of the lawn and gardens. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I Tigli
I Tigli was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The property was clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we could need. The view is amazing; the property is centrally located to Siena and Florence as well as other small medieval Tuscan hill towns. The family is so freindly and initiving. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in order to get the full feel of the Tuscan countryside.

Many thanks to the owners of I Tigli for this fantastic property! The house is decorated with respect to Tuscan heritage, and is well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our time there - included bialetti! The location of I Tigli couldn't be much better - easy access by car to some of the best aras of Tuscany including Siena, Florence & San Gimignano. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe, and we most definately will recommend it to others travelling through & also hope to return there ourselves in the near future. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!
