This was a fantastic holiday; the property is stuated on a hillside, surrounded by vinyards, overlooking fields of sunflowers with stunning views from the terrace - what more could you ask for? This is a lovely comfortable house in a beautiful part of Italy, just on the border with Tuscany and Lazio. The house is cool inside, nice open-plan living area downstairs and a good kitchen. The gardens around the house is lovely, and the pool, although small, and not deep, was a welcome relief from the hot sun.
It's hard to know where to start when describing this villa. I suppose I could start with the location: on a hill top with vineyards on all sides. Idyllic. Sitting by the pool at any time of day is a sensory smorgasbord of gentle breezes, wind in the trees, swallows dipping to catch a drink, warm sun, and a vista of green rolling hills that seems to change with each hour of the day. Inside the... (more) rooms are spacious and cool, even in the hottest day. It has everything you could possibly want, from a pool and hot tub, to a complete gym (even a ping pong table!). Equally convenient to Florence, Pisa, and Sienna, with the charming town of Montespertoli (Machiavelli's home town) just 5 minutes away. The owners Silvio and his wife Paula, are warm, gracious, and incredibly helpful. (Silvio speaks perfect English.) Our family would highly recommend this villa!
Very nice apartment, great kitchen and dining area. Very nice swimming pool and surrounds, and the Panzano area is great for exploring the Chianti area. Car is required, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, and will stay there again ourselves.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Torre del Cielo. The villa is beautifully restored and the owners and his family go above and beyond in trying to accommodate every request and make you feel relaxed and at home in your new surroundings. Fantastic villa in a beautiful location 20 mins drive from a beautiful city. Our teenage boys loved the pool area so much they hardly budged. Invaluable mosquito screens meant windows could be kept open and the villa remained cool from the regular mountain breezes. Spacious & comfortable and v helpful owner. John M, York, N Yorkshire.
The property and surroundings are wonderful in this very beautiful home. While there were 6 adults in the house it accomodated everyone very well so we didn't feel crowded at all. The owner lives on the property but you would not even know he was there. We felt very comfortable in the villa and enjoyed our stay at Fiorita.

This is an excellent place to stay and enjoy Tuscany.
In general, this is a fabulous central location for the region and a lovely villa. The house, pool and garden were delightful, well stocked and comfortable. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are a huge advantage in the summer months. However, both driveway entrances/exits to the villa are unpaved, steep, and dangerously located at blind intersections on the main and very busy road to Co... (more)rtona. We did feel like we were taking a serious risk everytime we had to drive in or out of the villa, and we are experienced drivers in Italy. It is also unrealistic to expect to walk anywhere from the villa, except perhaps on the main road a short distance to a bus stop. There is also a significant difference between the two bedrooms -- one clearly a master bedroom, with ample closets, dressers, side-tables, etc and a master bathroom next to it. The other is clearly a second bedroom with two twin beds, a small closet but no dresser or other storage. The second full bathroom is located downstairs and again, has no storage cabinets, counter space. For two couples sharing the villa the inequities of the space might be problematic. For a family with children (who are old enough to safely navigate a steep open stairway to the second floor), its probably a great set-up.
