Splendid villa, very spacious: ideal for 3 families. Very friendly owner who took regularly care of the swimming pool early in the morning so it was perfectly clean. (more)hes 2 or 3 times/day to and from the dishwasher. Thanks to the nearby motorway (that did not cause any noise) you can reach all interesting spots within 1-1,5hour. The only things that may disturb the rest: a cock who started to crow very early in the morning and a donkey who followed the example of the cock ;-) The electricity and gas costs were high and also the cleaning costs of 15EUR p.p. are extensive.
The appartment is beautifully equipped, comfortable for up to 8 people. Kitchen with a large fridge and dish wasser mkaes it complete.
The surrounding garden amd swimming poolis very well maintained. Although the house holds three appartments, privacy is guaranteed.
The ready available bycicles and free tennis court at the nearby main reception is very much appreciated.

Casa Farnetti is a wonderful place. There is only one big problem: the access by road. It is a shirt road uphill but if it has rained recently, as it happened in our case, be ready for the worse because the road is really tough to cross. There are stones all over, you have to drive really slow (1st gear only) and your car may result damaged, as it happened to ours which by the way was a rented car... (more). Otherwise, the house is absolutely wonderful, it has everything except I would say a clothes dryer, since being the climate so humid it really is a job to get the clothes dried. Also we made a claim to the agency regarding both the road and the number of beds and got no reply from them.
Great property, Owners were great. Location was great. Quiet, peaceful. Only thing i would suggest to the owners is that the property that we had needed bit of cleaning, we found alots of spider webs, etc.,, kitchen needed, bread knife, coffee pot, it was lacking alots of kitchen supplies.
Excellent Location and beautiful view, pool was amazing, very quanit property. Not far from the town. If we were to find any fault with it - a few things 1) no Kettle in the property 2) not enough inside relaxing space i.e. needs at least 1 more sofa for big parties of 8 3) no real outside veranda or level surface to have evening drinks and generally chill, only place outside was by the pool. 4... The house was too small for 6 people, half of the things they promised weren,t there (no satelitte tv, no freezer, no macrowave, no Dvd/cd set. The bedrooms were fine. It also took a while for the sun to arrive at our outdoor seating. Owner was very nice. Refrigirator was too small for 6 people. We had to throw out a lot.
The house is nice, but it needs a substantial cleaning and refreshing. The position is not the easiest for the access to the beaches around, a car is always needed. The owners are really nice persons.
The property is not far from Cortona but the 15 km - partly unpaved and very difficult serpentine mountain road takes 40 min drive to get to the property. The house is really (REALLY) small with no proper bathroom just a corner of shower that you can only use if you sit on the WC. Nos ha encantado Podere La Marronaia, ha superado nuestras expectativas.
