Great villa for group of family or friends with children. Lots of space, children loved football field, volley ball and pool area. TV with dvd player for teenagers in the evening. The villa and surrounds were wonderful ,clean , fresh. Very nice everything was first class. The owner could not have been more accommodating. A great venue for a holiday. There were two kitchens. Words can not describe the amount of work Riccardo put in for us. Our problems were his, we would like to thank him once more. Very well equipped and well maintained. We were surprised at the extensiveness of the kitchen and dishware as well as the quality of the bathrooms. Comfortable beds, lots of storage, good sized rooms.
Great proximity to Siena (20 minutes), Florence and the entire wine region. Only ten minutes to a local market and grocery store that was well stocked.

Have a local chef come in and cook some night - we did this twice and it was fantastic in terms of quality and experience. Go to the little restaurant at the top of the hill - outstanding food and experience.
Riccardo was an EXCELLENT host. He helped us with restaurant reservations and recommendations, hooked us up with a chef to come in and cook for us.
Villa Pieve is a fantastic place to stay. The location is wonderful, but the villa itself is a true gem. There were 20 of us, and we all had a wonderful stay. It is really more beautiful than the pictures. Lucignano is a quiet, lovely village with absolutely wonderful restaurants. We ate at 4 of them, and they were all first rate. We hope to return again and soak up some more Tuscan sun!!

I've found that when you rent a vacation property, you're never sure if it's going to be as good as it looks in the web ad. I'm happy to report that Villa Pieve looked wonderful on the web - and far exceeded our expectations when we arrived. Our stay at Villa Corsano/Siena was excellent. We travelled with Extended family and friends including 6 children. The villa comfortably held the 15 of us. Location is unparelled for access to major Tuscan towns and sites. We spent a week here in July 2010 with 20 family members. I got married out in the gardens mid-week. We could not have been more thrilled with the property. It was roomy and spacious, and really beautiful inside and on the grounds. All of the bedrooms were comfortable (we had a master on the top floor with a great terrace, stunning views and a bathroom to die for).

We loved Lucignano, and the small town on the other side of us (great little cappucino shops there for morning coffee).

We thoroughly enjoyed Villa Pieve. The location was great for exploring the Southern and Eastern parts of Tuscany. The house does look like the pictures as it is well kept and very spacious.
