We very much enjoyed our holiday at La Ripa. It is a nice recently renovated apartment, especially a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. The owners are very nice and helpful e.g. gave advise about places to visit and they let us taste some typical Tuscan products. They grow a lot of vegetables in their garden.
Florence is nearby and easy to visit by train.

A very pleasant and charming romantic house. Very cosy and the house stays real cool and had all the comfort we needed. The owner of the property lives nearby and is very friendly, charming and helpful, as well as his family. We had a huge part of the garden for our own with real privacy. The pool was 5 x 5. If you want some peace and want to relax, reading a nice book enjoying the environment, its possible here. You don't hear the cars in the streets its very peaceful and quiet. Except for some dogs barking further on and the TGV(train) you hear once in a while.
For us this place has given us a warm, beautiful memory.
Very elegant and extremely comfortable getaway for 1 or 2 people, in a beautiful setting not far from central Florence. The discrete owner is a perfect gentleman. I can highly recommend the villa.
Great property, Owners were great. Location was great. Quiet, peaceful. Only thing i would suggest to the owners is that the property that we had needed bit of cleaning, we found alots of spider webs, etc.,, kitchen needed, bread knife, coffee pot, it was lacking alots of kitchen supplies.
Fantastic property. Beautifully furnished. Great pool. Great location for visiting Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the lovely beaches at Viareggio.
My only criticisms? No electric kettle, no potato peeler, no mugs or big drinking glasses. No table mats. No DVD player. Families like/need things like this.

We booked this property very esaily and quickly through Easyreserve who were very efficient.
The property was really first class and in a very central position. Extremely clean and comfortable. A very good base for travelling around Tuscany. Sienna and Assisi close and Florence 1 hr drive and Rome 2hr drive.
The villa was beautiful! It is situated very close to Lucca but also within a half hour of the beach. The owners went out of their way to accommodate our requests including the addition of Sky tv in English. We will certainly stay here again!
The Deodara is fantastically located about 15 mins off the Fi-Pi-Li which connects Florence and the coast. It sits atop a ridgeline with views across the whole Arno valley to the south and wooded hills to the north. The house is relatively large and old, with a peaceful feel, large wooded grounds, and a pool with an attractive arched loggia which offers vital shade if the pool is to be used all ... On the other hand, it is an old family house in need of updating to be considered "comfortable". Although the owner very kindly replaced the fridge and dishwasher during our stay, there are underlying issues which may compromise the stay for some visitors. Water pressure is negligible to the extent that we stuck with the bath. Some bathrooms have smelly plumbing. The electrics are very dubious, with sockets wired in both the new and old form - a number of them not working. The oven is eccentric ...
We therefore, on balance, had a lovely stay and would certainly consider staying there again for the property's pool, loggia, location and views. However, if your creature comforts are important then you may want assurances of improvements.
